About Me

Hi there! I’m Sam, your go-to for a balanced approach to nutrition and fitness. My goal is to work collaboratively with my clients to achieve their nutrition and fitness goals SUSTAINABLY. No more yo-yo dieting or hopping from program to program.

A little bit about me: I graduated from Duke University with a Bachelors of Science in Economics back in 2018. After working in investment banking and M&A for several years, I found myself extremely disengaged and eager to switch to a path that I am much more passionate about: nutrition and fitness!

Since walking away from my career in finance, I went back to school to take allllll the science classes I avoided my first time around (*cough cough* organic chem). Now, I have a Bachelors of Science in Nutrition & Dietetics from NCCU, am a NASM-certified personal trainer, and am currently pursuing a Master of Public Health degree from UNC-Chapel Hill in my pursuit to become a registered dietitian. In my free time, I love spending time with my boyfriend and Samoyed named Gatsby, baking and cooking, traveling, and spending time outdoors!

Through a detailed intake questionnaire and introductory video consultation, we will set you up with an individualized plan of action specific to your nutrition and fitness goals.

Weekly Check-ins

Weekly check-ins (alternating email and video consults) provide accountability and track progress while also covering any necessary program adjustments, education, and Q&A.

Unlimited Communication

Unlimited email and text messaging communication and support. You can expect responses to all messages within 24 hours Monday thru Friday.

Customized Nutrition

Nutrition plan tailored to your needs/lifestyle/goals. Whether we utilize macros/calorie counting or use another method for tracking dietary patterns and portions, the goal is always to support you in learning your body and adopting sustainable healthy habits.

Personalized training plan

Personalized strength training program tailored to achieving your goals with unlimited video feedback support for learning proper form, execution, and intensity.

Access to resource library

Access to educational resources to help guide you along your journey - ranging from navigating social situations to eating out to grocery shopping and database of healthy recipes.

Program updates and adjustments as determined necessary by your coach.
